Bike Adventure Camp

What about a bike adventure camp? One week in length (6 days actually), for young-uns culminating with a longer ride at the missions or up in the hillcountry.

Starts at the church with a short devotional, all-comers with adults welcome as well to add to the chaperone ratio. Waiver required, $3 dollars per day, per ride to help with costs of go-juice(R) and sag wagon.

One day spent on handling skills (on the bike rodeo course at Northwood El. across the street) and teaching self-sufficiency with respect to basic bike repair (how to fix a flat, adjust things that need adjusting, etc). Other days: a trail ride at a nearby trail, a neighborhood ride to learn how to deal with traffic and pick the safest route, a hillacious ride to learn how to deal with gears, a combination ride riding out to a locale where everyone can participate in another activity such as horse-back riding and an explorer ride (Let's go where you want to go).

I know what the love of my life thinks, but what about the rest of youse guyse?
